  I never write reviews but felt I had to tonight. Really had high hopes for this place from looking at the reviews and reading the menu. Went here on a Tuesday night and there was a group of 20 in the bar so we sat in the dining room where there was one other couple who was finishing their meal. Our waitress was very nice and sociable. Had a couple glasses of wine and the lamb pops as an appetizer which were quite good. I wasn't real hungry and felt like like a salad with some added protein so I ordered the roasted beet salad with salmon, my wife ordered a chicken dish. Because of the 20 top, it took a good 30 minutes for the food to arrive. Just before our food arrived we were informed that there were no more mashed potatoes and would my wife like French fries or rice. Not a big deal but my wife LOVEs mashed potatoes. And the when my salad arrived it wasn't dressed and looked pretty bland and the fries were quite wilted and greasy. These are all pretty trivial things but for $70 plus tip, it was a very disappointing dinner, especially compared to the amazing dinner that we had at the South Bend Bistro in Sun River, for less than the mediocre meal we had in Yakima. Needless to say, I won't be dining here again. Now on to more important matters.
